Summer Art in Junior Infants

Hello everyone,

Summer holidays are ALMOST upon us and dare I say it the sunshine is back with a bang today!! Please let it stay!

What's nice about this time of year is all the lovely Summer activities you can spend time on! It's such a hectic time, I like having lots of activities to keep everyone busy, engaged and learning!

It is a great time of year for lots of lovely art, and here are a few of the things we've  been up to!

We've been working on some summer symmetry drawing.....and for infants I was super impressed with their little masterpieces!

My summer symmetry pages can be found here:

We've also made some nice summery sunflowers this week too.
Easy peasy but effective! Handprint petals, finger print centre and painting stems and leaves freehand.

Tomorrow we have to finish our Dandelions, these are cute and very effective on nice blue card!

I've a list a mile long of other lovely art to do over the next 10 days...not a chance that we'll get through it all, but what we do, I'll be sure to post!

Over & out,
